Coolants And Brake Fluid (Solar Coolant) is a premium quality Antifreeze Coolant that has been tested for all automotive and light duty truck cooling systems not requiring the use of SCA’s, regardless of color. When used in a flush and refill service of the cooling system, the product will provide 5 years or 150,000 miles of service (which ever occurs first). Solar Coolant not only guards against freezing and boil-over, it also provides critical protection against corrosion forming on system components, including aluminum.
Solar Coolant Concentrate will provide protection over a temperature range of-37°C to .125°C with a system using a 15-psi radiator cap and a 50:50 dilution. Recommended dilution is 2 parts of water to 1 part of coolant
Solar Universal Brake Fluid (UBF) DOT 3 is a polyglycol based fluid suitable for use in disc and Drum brakes as hydraulic clutch systems where a non-petroleum based DOT 3 fluid is specified and is not recommended where DOT 4, Super DOT 4 or DOT 5 brake fluids are specified.
Note:
- Only brake fluid should be used for flushing brake lines and they discarded
- Brake fluids will damage paintwork
- If spilt on paintwork, hose off immediately: Do not wipe paintwork
- Harmful if swallowed Avoid contact with skin, Keep out of reach of children
- To maintain a high margin of safety, we recommend that the system be drained and Refilled every 12 months or 20,000 km
